Hi, I’m Wanda!
My foster family describes me as super sweet, friendly, and easy-going! I’m the perfect mix of social butterfly and couch potato, and I’d be a great fit for just about any family!
In addition to being totally potty trained, I’m very well-behaved at home and on-leash, and I sleep through the night in my crate. I get a little anxious being left home alone, but my foster family says I’m gaining confidence with practice. After all, I only just moved to D.C., so I’m still adjusting!
One thing I haven’t needed any adjustment time for are the big city noises! I’m a confident lady, and I’d be a great pup for someone who lives in an apartment downtown. I don’t mind the hustle and bustle of the city, and I’m super quiet. I'm just working on quieting down a bit when I'm left home alone.
I love going for walks, and meeting new friends. I consider every other human and dog I encounter to be a potential new BFF! I’m very outgoing and social, and I also love playing at the dog park! I do really great in the car and would love to go on all your adventures. I’d be thrilled to join a family where I had a doggy sibling, or to be an only child (all the treats for me!).
When I’m not enjoying myself out on the town, I like to spend my time dozing in the sun. My favorite thing about being out of the shelter is the new-to-me concept of a couch! I love a couch! I’m an amazing napper, and I’d be more than happy to share my coziest spots with my forever family! I know the art of relaxation well, and I’d be a great fit for someone who also enjoys some downtime at home.
