Hey there! I'm Tommy, and I'm what you might call a unicorn dog—young but calm, with a moderate energy level that makes me the perfect blend of playful and mellow. I love people of all ages and get along great with all dogs. I'm good on a leash, and I love to explore, but I'm just as happy snuggled up on the couch or playing with a toy. I know some basic commands and am eager to learn more because I love to please.

My favorite thing in the world is to lay next to you on the couch and rest my head in your lap. I'm a total love bug and thrive on affection and companionship. I enjoy car rides, long and short walks, dog parks, and chewing on toys or laying in the sun.

I'm generally well-behaved and housetrained, and I go potty as soon as I get outside. I do well in my crate most of the time, although I can get a little nervous about going in. Once I'm in, I usually just sleep. I'm quiet for the most part, only letting out a few excited whines when you come to let me out of my crate, and I might bark a bit when playing with other dogs.

I get along with everyone, including strangers and kids, and I play well with other dogs. My daily routine includes a morning walk, breakfast, and then some crate time while my person works. In the afternoon, I get another walk and some free roam time. In the evening, I love to relax on the couch with my family.

My ideal home: I'm compact and quiet, making me great for apartment living, and I'd be a good fit for a first-time dog owner. However, I do have some separation anxiety when left alone, so I'd do best with someone who works from home or is home often.
