I'm ready for my new family!

Hi, I’m Tatum!

I’m a spirited, confident guy with a big personality and just the right amount of independence—but don’t let that fool you, I’ve got a soft, affectionate side too.

In new or busier environments, I can be a little unsure at first, especially with loud noises or a lot going on. But give me a little time and I settle in nicely. Once I feel comfortable, I’m able to relax and show off my sweet, easygoing nature.

I’m a total gentleman when I’m out and about. I’m friendly, gentle, and love meeting new people—I’ve even done well with young kids when interactions are calm and respectful. I also enjoy the company of other dogs and tend to feel more relaxed and social when I have canine friends around.

I’ve got a playful, goofy side that comes out once I’m comfortable, but I also really love being close to my person. Whether I’m leaning against you, sneaking in some kisses, or curling up nearby, I’m happiest when I’m part of whatever you’re doing.

I already know my basic commands like “sit,” and I’m very treat-motivated (especially once I’ve settled in), which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both of us. I enjoy working with my person and would do best with someone who likes to engage with their dog and appreciates a little personality along the way.

On leash, I do pretty well overall, though my hound nose can sometimes lead me toward an interesting scent. With consistency and the right setup, I’m very manageable and eager to learn.

I’m looking for a home that understands I might need a little time to warm up in new situations but will be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion. If you’re someone who appreciates a dog with both personality and heart, I might just be your perfect match.
