Hey there! I’m Striker, and anyone who adopts me will think they’ve struck gold!

Let’s start off with a quick brag sesh.  My foster says I’m her favorite foster dog to date (insert hair flip).  I’m honestly not shocked, I’m pretty darn amazing! 

First off, I’m basically the cutest pup you’ve ever met, right?? I get stopped on the sidewalk all the time so people can tell me how cute I am! My foster says I’m a magnet for dog-lovers, everybody is drawn to me! I’m super friendly, and love to meet new people.  I’m especially looking forward to meeting my new family! 

At home, some of my favorite activities include playing with my toys, ensuring there is absolutely zero space between me and my foster, taking naps, and supervising work from home activities.  I also love doing whatever my humans are doing! If my foster gets excited and starts jumping up and down, I’ll join in! I’m actually currently in training to join the U.S. track and field team for the Olympic vertical jump.  I’ll gladly show you my skills anytime!

Speaking about unique skills,  since I’m a sheltie, it’s in my nature to herd and communicate with my humans.  I occasionally like to practice on my people, and I’m always one to share my thoughts and opinions aloud.  Don’t worry though, I promise I’m a polite boy, and my foster says I’m a great listener.  

I’m actually a super well-trained pup all around! I know ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘leave it’, and I walk amazing on leash and do great in my crate!  I really enjoy training, especially when there are snacks involved!
