Hi, I’m Sassie, but my foster mom says my name should really be “Sweetie!’. I’m an absolute lover, and want to spend all my time snuggling with my foster mom!
I’ll be totally honest, I don’t love strangers, and I have been known to bark at visitors when they first show up. Its not that I don’t like new people, its just that I take my job of protecting my foster mom very seriously. That said, I do really like to make new friends once I realize we aren’t under attack when the doorbell rings, and I’m learning to be brave and greet people a little more quietly.
With the people I do know and love, I'm the biggest cuddle bug ever! I shower all members of my pack with affection, and am sweet, gentle, loving and loyal! As you can see in my pictures, I love the youngest family members too! I'm great with kids!
Some of my favorite things to do are to ride in the car, play with my doggy friends at daycare or the park, and snooze on the couch. I also like going for walks, and sniffing all the smells outside!
I already know a bunch of practical tricks ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, and I’m a smart cookie and a quick learner. I've also never met a treat or snack I didn't enjoy, so I'm pretty easy to train! At night, I’m the best girl ever and sleep peacefully in my crate.
