Hi there, I’m Roscoe!
I’m a super sweet, laid back, gentle guy.
Some of my favorite things to do are taking long walks, and napping in the sun. I also like to play with my toys, by myself or with my humans, and get all the snuggles.
I’m a bit of a shy guy, and I don’t love loud noises, but other than that I’m a happy pup. I like to meet new doggy friends, and love playing with other dogs. I’m a little hesitant around human strangers, and the only time my foster mom has heard me bark is when someone I don’t know comes to visit. After a few minutes though, I’m happy to make friends, and I’m gaining confidence as I get more settled in D.C.
My foster mom describes me as ‘very polite and well-behaved’ because I’m crate trained, potty-trained (for the most part, with an occasional accident due to nerves or schedule changes), and don’t try to get on the furniture. I've mastered 'sit,' lay down,' 'wait,' 'drop it,' 'touch,' ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ (currently working on 'heel') and I’d be happy to learn even more tricks with my forever family.
