Hi, I’m Pope, and I’m applying for the position of ‘super affectionate neighborhood watch team member’.  Allow me to share my credentials.  

First off, I’m a gentle, mellow guy who loves being with my people.  In previous roles, I consistently exceeded my performance goals in ‘napping on the bed while foster mom works’ and ‘providing emotional support to all human co-workers’.  As much as I enjoy being close though, I’m also okay with some time on my own.  I do great in my crate, even overnight! 

I’ve also demonstrated a great willingness to go above and beyond to help my team succeed.  Need to take the show on the road? That’s cool with me! I love car rides! Got some new staff you need to onboard? No problem, I’m all about playing with other dogs! 

I’m sure you’re already convinced that I’m the perfect hire for this role, but to seal the deal, let me tell you about my special skill.  Observation! I love watching the world go by, whether it’s from a window, or while I’m out on a walk.  Don’t worry, I keep my thoughts to myself! I notice everything that’s happening, and my favorite way to spend an afternoon is keeping an eye on all that’s going on around me.
