Good with: Dogs, Cats (may initially chase playfully) Not good with: Nervous around kids; would be ok with proper introduction House trained: Yes Energy level: Moderate Noise level: Relatively quiet, sometimes whines in crate Hey there! I'm Pippen, and I'm searching for a forever home filled with love and laughter. Being a part of a family is my absolute favorite thing, and I'm ready to bring joy and warmth to your life. I'm a delightful companion with big, floppy ears and a gentle demeanor. My enthusiasm is infectious—I'm always up for a lively walk, a cozy cuddle session on the couch, or some fun training with tasty treats. I consider myself a cherished family member, and I can't wait to find a home where I'll be loved and appreciated. I've got the training basics down, showcasing my quick learning abilities and a strong desire to please. While I'm obedient, there are a few areas where I could use some extra guidance and positive reinforcement. We're working on refining my leash manners, especially when there are distractions during walks. Inside the house, I'm learning to settle and self-regulate. I've shown some signs of separation anxiety in my crate, but with your support, I'm making great progress. I'm fully housetrained, making me an easygoing addition to your home. I'm generally quiet in the house, with vocalization limited to occasional whining in my crate. I thrive on a variety of activities, from the excitement of long walks and playtime in the dog park to the simple joy of zoomies and cuddles on the couch. I'm a versatile companion, ready to add vibrancy to your daily routine. Our days follow a structured routine with designated crate times and enjoyable walks. I love the morning and evening walks, and my crate training has made me comfortable with a consistent schedule. While I don't require a yard, I thoroughly enjoy my time in the yard during bathroom breaks and playtime. I possess a delightful array of positive traits. I'm crate trained, enjoy car rides, and have a playful, affectionate nature. My intelligence, eagerness to please, and gentle demeanor make me a perfect fit for a loving home. Around kids on walks, I seem a bit nervous, but with proper introductions, I'd probably be okay. I get along well with other dogs and love the social interaction. We don't have information about my compatibility with cats at this time. If you're looking for an easygoing companion with an affectionate personality, I'm your pup! I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can share all the love I’ve got to give! My foster guardian says: “Pippen is a fun pup that is always ready to be part of whatever is going on! If it's walk time, she's ready to go! If its time to curl up on the couch to watch tv, she's ready to cuddle! She is super smart and eager to learn, a great balance of energy/activity and a huge cuddle bug, and just an overall amazing pup! Her big floppy ears are so soft and adorable... anyone would be lucky to have her.” Likes: going on walks, chewing on sticks, sniffing everything, napping on the couch, cuddling with her people, running around in the yard or at the dog park, learning new training and tricks (especially when treats are involved!), toys and kongs Dislikes: new/loud noises (but getting better every day!), garbage trucks or other loud/big vehicles, strollers/scooters/bikes My ideal home: Pippen would do well in most homes! Ideally, it would be a home that wants to do regular walks, occasional dog park playtime, and have a super smart dog that they can learn and grow with.
