I'm ready for my new family!

Hi there! I’m Peaches — a 4-year-old, 45-pound hound mix with soft ears, soulful eyes, and a heart full of love. If you're looking for a dog who's equal parts cuddle bug, hiking buddy, and squirrel patrol officer, I might be your girl.

I love my walks — especially when I get to sniff everything in sight or explore a good hiking trail. I’ve got a pretty great zoomie game (mornings and late afternoons are prime time), and I run like the wind in my ears when I get the chance! But don’t worry — I’m not one of those dogs who needs to sprint every day to be happy. A few nice walks, some yard time, and I’m good to go.

I’m also a big fan of tug-of-war, the occasional half-hearted game of fetch (I kinda get it, but let’s not make it a thing), and antagonizing squirrels from a safe distance. When I’m not adventuring, you’ll find me sprawled out on the softest surface I can find — beds, rugs, dog beds, couches, etc. My favorite treats include peanut butter Kongs and bully sticks, and while I’m not a big licker, I am affectionate and love a good cuddle session.

I’ve been living in a home with a yard and people who have hybrid work schedules, so I'm good work from home buddy but also totally fine left alone when you go to the office. I’m crate trained and pretty chill on my own — I even nap in my crate and sleep there too.

I do well with other pups and I like all the people I meet, I'm even good with kids!

One thing you should know about me: I have a condition called Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). It sounds intense, but don’t worry — I’m not on any long-term meds right now, and I live a normal life! It just means I need to be careful about vaccines (lower doses, spaced out, sometimes with meds to help my body out), but your vet can help you keep me safe and healthy.
