Hi, I’m Onyx! I’m a super cute, wiggly pup who’s always happy to see you. I can’t help but show my excitement with full-body wiggles and lots of kisses. I’m a confident, curious girl who loves exploring new things and trying new adventures. Whether it’s a hike, a long walk, a trip to the dog park, or some zoomies in the yard, I’m always ready for fun!

When I’m not out exploring, I’m busy being my playful, silly self. One of my favorite things to do is hide my toys under the couch and then come back later to find them—it’s like my own little treasure hunt! I’ve been working hard on my training and have almost mastered “sit". I’m very treat-motivated, but since I'm a puppy, short training sessions in calm settings work best for me. I’m mostly housetrained, too, with no accidents as long as I stick to a routine, and I can go 6-8 hours without a potty break. I’m also mostly crate-trained!

I love meeting new people, including kids. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy playing with my foster siblings in the backyard. If you’re ready for an adorable, playful puppy who’s eager to learn and full of love, I might just be the perfect match for you. I’ll need some help with basic training and a bit of patience as I work on my puppy behaviors, but I promise to fill your home with endless joy, wiggles, and love!

My foster guardian says: "My favorite thing about Onyx is that she will crawl under the crouch to hide her toys and then go back to find them later!"

Likes: Car rides, walks, hikes, dog parks, zoomies, and running (pretty much everything!)

My ideal home: I'm a generally easy pup and will do great in a variety of homes, but my forever family will have to work with me on some puppy training to make me the bestest girl I can be!

Looking to fill your home with love, cuddles, and playful energy? Puppies make every day brighter, and slightly older ones (6–12 months) are the perfect balance! At this sweet age, you skip the hardest parts of puppyhood—like potty training, teething, and wild energy bursts—while still getting a young, adaptable dog to shape into a lifelong companion. Puppies are incredibly flexible and eager to bond, making them the perfect blank slate for you to help mold and train into a lifelong companion. Plus, you'll get to enjoy their cute antics and see their personality blossom each day.  Whether you’re ready to adopt or just want to foster, you’ll be giving a puppy the love and guidance they need—and getting boundless joy in return. Start the adventure of a lifetime—adopt or foster a puppy today!
