Forever true to "the Underdog"
Hello! My name is Newt, and I'm a 2-year-old male Hound weighing a solid 50 pounds. I'm current on all my vaccinations, dewormed, and heartworm negative, so I’m in tip-top shape and ready to find my forever family!
When I first arrived at the shelter, I was a bit shy and scared. You see, I was found hiding under a car, hoping someone would come to my rescue. Lucky for me, that's exactly what happened, and I've been given a second chance here at RDR.
Since I’ve been here, I’ve discovered a lot about myself. I absolutely love a cozy bed, especially one that's covered in toys to keep me company. I enjoy spending time with the other dogs, and I can’t get enough of being outside. I'm always ready for an adventure and love to keep up with whoever's holding the leash. I do appreciate the occasional stop for some well-deserved pets, of course!
I'm a friendly guy who gets along well with other dogs. I have a passion for putting a smile on your face and love in your heart. I promise, I'm ready to rock and roll my way right into your life!
