Hi there, I’m Misty, Misty of D.C! 

My foster family describes me as an incredibly sweet, social girl who loves to stay active.  One of their favorite things about me is how much I love spending time with my people! Whenever someone walks into a room, I like to wag in greeting, and I’m a champion wagger! 

I currently live with a few doggy foster siblings, and I think that's a blast.  I like to play with other dogs, and go on adventures all together! We love to play at the park, go for hikes, ride in the car, and even go swimming!

My foster describes me as a ‘gentle touch’ which means I’m super well-behaved in the house.  I respect all the furniture and don’t chew on things I shouldn't.  I like to jump up to get attention sometimes, but I’m a very gentle, delicate jumper.  What can I say, I’m a real athlete! 

Even though I love it most when my humans are home and spending time with me, I’m also very good at staying home in my crate when they have to go to work.  It's nice that I still have my foster siblings around, but I don’t mind a little alone time too.  I moved to D.C. with my 2 puppies (they’re doing amazing in other foster families!), so trust me, I’m still catching up on peace and quiet.  

My foster family thinks I’d do great in pretty much any home, especially one where my people love adventures as much as me, and are home often enough to love on me as much as I deserve!
