My foster guardian says: “My favorite thing about Mia is how much joy and love she shares with everyone!”

Hi there, I’m Mia!
My foster family says I’m a sweet, trusting, happy girl who loves people!
One of my best traits is just how friendly I am! Anytime I see a new person, I light up with the excitement of maybe getting to meet them. I could teach a crash course in meeting new people, I’m that good at it! My go-to strategy is to stare longingly at any new human I haven’t met yet, and patiently wag my tail in their direction until they notice me. Once they get within petting range, I pour on all the love, and get as close as possible to maximize snuggle opportunities. I like to sit on people’s feet, curl up in their lap, lean into their legs, give hugs, and just generally share all the snuggles and kisses.
Besides being with my people, one of my other favorite things to do is play with my toys! My foster mom says that every time I discover a new toy, I beam with happiness and prances around showing off my new treasure. Pretty cute, right?
Since I’m still a puppy, I’m gaining confidence in greeting new dogs and people who come up to me really quickly. I always want to say hi, but sometimes I’m a little nervous if things are moving too fast or i situations are too loud. Don't worry though! I’m practicing being brave every day, and my foster family thinks that with a few more weeks of living in the city, I’ll be totally comfortable and confident.
Now, lets talk about tricks! I’m a smart puppy who is learning super fast! I already know ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘leave it’, and ‘come’! I’m also crate trained, and I’m learning the ‘crate’ command too! I’d love to be part of a family who wants to teach me even more tricks, especially if there are snacks involved in the learning process!
To recap, I’m a super-sweet, snuggly, well-behaved girl who just wants all the love! So, what do you say? Could I be the pup for you?
