I'm ready for my new family!

Hi I’m Mabel, and I’m excited to maybe be your new dog! I am a sweet, affectionate pup looking for a fresh start and a committed home to help me thrive! 

I love long walks with my people, playing with other dogs, and sunbathing in the backyard while I wait for squirrels to chase.  I'm also a girly who doesn't mind city noise and hubub, so if you live downtown, that works too!

As far as my special skills, I am crate trained, pretty good on leash, and I already know 'sit' and 'down'. I love treats and snacks, and that helps me learn things super quick.  I'd love to learn even more new tricks with my forever family! 

I am a huge lover who sometimes feels the need to protect my favorite people. To help me with this, I am entering a training program where I will learn new ways to manage my resource guarding tendencies and polish up my basic obedience. My ideal home will be patient and willing to follow a training plan to help me feel safe and secure once I’m finished. I would thrive in a family with structure and clear boundaries.
