Hi, I’m Mabel!
My foster family describes me as a calm, loving dog who wants to please her people more than anything else! I’m an affectionate, happy girl who loves to be loved!
If you’re someone who likes a routine, I think we’d get along. I love following my schedule, and keeping my days consistent. I like a perfectly balanced day of walks, snuggles, time to practice my tricks, snacks, and naps. I feel the most happy and confident when I know what to expect next on the agenda, so I’m looking for a family who will keep that in mind.
I’d also be a great fit for any family looking for a pup who loves to learn! I’m one smart cookie, and I love training. I know ‘sit’, ‘off’, ‘heel’, ‘leave-it’, and ‘place’, and I’m working on loads of other commands too. I’m really well-behaved in the house, I’m totally potty trained, I do a great job in my crate, and I walk beautifully on leash. I’m also polite and social with other dogs! I currently live with my doggy foster brother, and we get along great. I think he’s the coolest! He doesn’t always want to play with me, but that’s okay! I’m super respectful of his space and alone time.
Some of my favorite things to do besides training are to take long walks, and get all the sniffs in! I like to observe nature (especially squirrels), and keep my humans company around the house. I’m a big snuggler, and want all the pets I can get! I also adore snacks in any shape or form. If there is a treat in the vicinity, I’ll sniff it out! I also really like puzzle toys like kongs, and my special favorite snack is blueberries!
