Hi, I'm Mac! I'm the sweetest, most affectionate dog you'll ever meet. My big brown eyes will melt your heart, and if you give me the chance, I’ll happily crawl into your lap for a cuddle. I even give human-like hugs! I’m a very good boy, and I’d fit right into almost any loving household. I’m quickly getting used to city life, and with just a bit more practice, I’ll be the perfect addition to your family.

I’ve got a medium energy level, and I love both long and short walks. Honestly, I think I’d enjoy whatever my people are up to!  In the house, I’m mellow and calm, though I’m still getting used to some of the noises and commotion of the city, like loud trucks or large groups of people. But don’t worry, I’m a fast learner—I just learned how to go down stairs, and I’m eager to please!

I know a few basic commands like sit and stay, and I’m mostly housetrained. I’m crate trained and sleep through the night without fuss. I’m well-mannered on walks, but if there are too many distractions, like bikes or large crowds, I might pull a bit. I hardly bark at all, though, so you’ll have a quiet companion in me. 

I get along with everyone! I love to play with my foster sister, a 5-year-old pit bull, and we have a great time together. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who loves cuddles and is ready to learn, I’m your guy!
