Approximate Age: ~13 weeks old Approximate Weight/Size: Small Good with: Dogs, Cats and Kids Must have: Lilo requires a home with another small, younger, playful and puppy-tolerate dog under 25lbs. We will not consider any applications that do not have a younger small dog in the home. Location: I am being fostered in Chester, Maryland. Due to my age, I will not be at any adoption events in DC. Meet and Greets will be scheduled with applicants that have been preapproved to adopt me. Hi, I'm Lilo! I'm a sweet Chi mix a born on September 13th as a single pup to a black 12lb Cheweenie mix. My father is unknown so please keep into consideration that I could end up being 15- 20 pounds when fully grown. I love all other dogs and cats, and since I'm an only pup, playing with other size appropriate, friendly dogs is crucial for my socialization skills. I love to cuddle and play with my dog friends, s o we will only be processing applications that have another small, friendly, playful and puppy-tolerant dog under 25lbs so that I can have a play buddy. Due to my small size, I would do best in a home with children over the age of 10 or well behaved children who will be careful with me. I currently sleep through the night and I'm working on my house training with a puppy pad - although I know to go outside when you take me out. I'm very smart and well behaved! A few things to consider before applying to adopt a puppy: - Puppies require a lot of upfront work including both obedience and house training. - Puppies cannot be left home alone for long periods while they are young. - You might need to "puppy-proof" your home before bringing one home.
