I'm ready for my new family!

Hi, I’m Janice! I’m a loyal, mellow companion with a heart full of love to give. My gentle and easy-going nature makes me a comfort to everyone I meet, and I pride myself on being the epitome of a "good girl." I’m always friendly and get along well with other dogs, so I’m a great addition to any family. I’m a curious explorer and love discovering new things and meeting new people. But at the end of the day, I’m all about cuddles! I thrive on human affection and can’t get enough of snuggle time.

Recently, I had some lovely outings that really showed what a special girl I am. I went on three walks in one day—including a city stroll, a scenic trip around the RFK area, and a nature trail walk in Kingman Heritage Park. I adjusted beautifully to each environment. City noise doesn’t faze me, and I greeted people with gentle friendliness. I’m strong, but my leash manners are great—I don’t tug much, and I settle into a walking rhythm quickly. In the car, I was calm and relaxed, either sitting or lying down peacefully in the back seat.

I also had a fun weekend adventure at the Running of the Chis event, where I was truly a delight. Indoors, I’m playful but never overbearing. I’m a chill girl who knows how to entertain herself with a toy, but I’m also perfectly happy to crate myself for a nap or sleep on the bed if invited. I'm relaxed, well-mannered, and potty trained. 

I’m still learning basic obedience and tricks, but I’m eager to please and a quick learner. Overall, I’m a loving, easygoing girl who wants nothing more than to be someone’s loyal companion. Whether we’re walking through the city, relaxing at home, or going for a scenic drive, I’ll be right there with you—offering snuggles, smiles, and lots of love.
