Hi there, I’m Igor!
If I was going to play a character in the movie, I would probably play the BFG, because that’s me to a tee! I’m a big, friendly, giant who loves people and can’t wait to find my forever family!
My foster family describes me as “the most laid-back, adaptable, unbothered dog we’ve ever met’. I am one chill dude! City noise? Doesn’t bother me! Other dogs? I’ll sniff hello, but otherwise don’t feel the need to do much more. Cats? I barely notice them. Absolutely nothing fazes me, and I’m content to just sit back and enjoy life as it comes. After all, I’m 7 now! I’m past my crazy puppy phase, my terrible teenager phase, and my high-energy young dog phase. I’m basically all the fun parts of having a dog (the walks, the snuggles, the goofy antics), without all the work that comes along with training a younger dog.
I’m a super well-behaved guy, and content to just lounge around the house all day long. My foster mom watches me on her pet camera when she goes to work, and she says that even on my busiest days, the only thing I really do is switch nap spots. Clearly she doesn’t value my work ethic, or she’d know that finding the best spots to snooze is a tough job! Even if my productivity might be a bit lacking, I’d get a glowing performance review regardless, because I’m an amazing co-worker! I boost morale everywhere I go due to my friendly, gentle personality. At home I love lying next to my people, and following everyone around to get pets.
As far as exercise goes, I do like to go for walks, but I’m not looking for a marathon buddy. A few casual strolls around the block during the day, and maybe a hike on the weekends would be perfect for me! I do like an adventure that involves the car, and I’m super easy to bring along on jaunts around the city, since I’m so mellow.
