Hi, I am Harry, and my foster says I should have my own stand-up show. I love to make people laugh and I have quite the routine. Some of my best acts include rolling dramatically across the floor like I am on stage, tossing my own toys into the air and chasing them as if I surprised myself, and showing off my tricks like a professional performer. I already know “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and I am always ready to learn something new if it means I get to show off and hear people cheer for me, and a snack!

Even though I love being the funny guy, I am also calm and cuddly when the curtain comes down. After I get a good laugh out of my audience, I am happiest curling up next to someone for pets and naps. My foster says I give the best cuddles and I agree. I am very polite too. I do not beg at the table, I do not bark for attention, and I do not jump on people. I walk nicely on a leash and I do great in my crate.

I am a friendly soul at heart. I love meeting new people. I play beautifully with other dogs, and I am gentle and patient with kids. When I meet someone new, I often flop over right away to show I am ready for belly rubs. It is my way of saying, “Hi, I like you, and I trust you already.”

When I have some downtime, I keep myself entertained. I am an independent guy who knows how to relax. Give me a bone and I will happily chew it for hours without ever touching anything I should not. I also love to sunbathe and will find the warmest patch of light just to stretch out and soak it all in. It is one of my favorite ways to spend the day.

My foster says one of the funniest things about me is how expressive I am. I may not bark, but I have a whole dictionary of facial expressions and silly sounds. From snorts and grunts to big sighs, I always find a way to join the conversation and make sure you know how I am feeling.

I am goofy, loving, well-mannered, and full of personality. I can make you laugh, then cuddle up and remind you how sweet life can be. If you are looking for a dog who is both hilarious and heartwarming, Harry might just be your perfect match.
