Forever true to "the Underdog"
Hi, I'm Elsa! I came from a severe hoarding/neglect situation, but I'm very sweet and already settling in with my foster family.
I'm currently being treated for heartworms. Due to my age and size, I am going through slow-kill treatment which simply means it could take up to 12-14 months for me to fully recover. Fortunately, slow-kill treatment is super easy and just requires me to take a specific heartworm preventative once a month - plus I'm already two months into my treatment. I also come with a six-month supply of this preventative which will travel with me when I'm adopted! You can learn more about heartworm here.
