Hi, I’m Dolly!
I’m a total sweetheart with a happy, loving personality and a zest for life. I have a good amount of energy, but once I get a nice, solid walk each day, I’m more than ready to curl up on the couch and enjoy some quality cuddle time. I strike a great balance between active and affectionate.
I’m very social and absolutely love other dogs. I’m respectful of boundaries and do really well sharing space, even with dogs who need a little extra understanding. Playtime is one of my favorite things, and I love to get my fill of fun with my canine friends.
I’m eager to please and a quick learner, which makes training a positive experience for everyone involved. I already know “sit” and “stay,” and with my smarts and motivation, I’m excited to keep building on my skills as I go.
I’m also an excellent travel companion. I’ve been on a family beach trip and did wonderfully in the car and adjusting to a new environment. I’m calm, trusting, and cooperative—even when things are a little uncomfortable—because I truly want to do my best for my people.
I love everyone I meet, including adults, kids, and teens. I’ve been living with a teenager and happily welcome all of her friends who come and go. New faces don’t bother me at all—I just see them as new friends.
At home, I’m crate trained, sleep soundly through the night, and can be left alone during the day without any worries. I’m an easygoing, well-rounded girl who would fit beautifully into many different types of households.
