I'm ready for my new family!

Chicago

I'm Available

Hi! I’m Chicago, a 1-year-old hound with lots of love and energy to share. I’m about 34 lbs, and I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, dewormed, and heartworm negative! I had a tough time recently—I was adopted, but I lost my favorite person, and sadly, no one else in the family could keep me. Even though that was hard, I’m still my cheerful, playful self! I absolutely love making new friends and spreading joy wherever I go. I’m smart and love learning new tricks, which makes training fun for both of us! I can be a little nervous at first, but once I get used to my people and surroundings, I'm very sweet. I'm also very curious - I love to sniff! If you're looking for a companion who will fill your days with laughter and love, I might just be the perfect fit. The nice folks at RDR will update my profile when they learn more about me. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give.

Looking to fill your home with love, cuddles, and playful energy? Puppies make every day brighter, and slightly older ones (6–12 months) are the perfect balance! At this sweet age, you skip the hardest parts of puppyhood—like potty training, teething, and wild energy bursts—while still getting a young, adaptable dog to shape into a lifelong companion. Puppies are incredibly flexible and eager to bond, making them the perfect blank slate for you to help mold and train into a lifelong companion. Plus, you'll get to enjoy their cute antics and see their personality blossom each day.  Whether you’re ready to adopt or just want to foster, you’ll be giving a puppy the love and guidance they need—and getting boundless joy in return. Start the adventure of a lifetime—adopt or foster a puppy today!
