Hi, I’m Cardinal, and I’m ready to spread my wings and find my forever family! 

My foster says that I’m a good-natured dog who is just the right mix of playful and chill. She’s right! 

I can be a little shy at first, but my curiosity quickly gets the better of me, and then I’m off exploring! Don’t worry, though, I don’t get too carried away.  I’m really well-behaved at home, and never chew on anything I’m not supposed to.  I save all the chewing for my bones! I love a good snack or treat!

I like everybody, and I’m even friendly with strangers.  I also enjoy playing with other dogs! I get really excited about walks and playing outside, but during the work day, I’m the chillest guy you’ve ever met.  I love to keep my foster company while she’s working from home.   

My foster says I've been doing a great job at learning how to stay home alone and being in my crate. I’m even brave enough to sleep in my crate overnight now!  

I’m a quick learner all around, actually.  I’m already potty trained, I know how to sit, and I’m working on "stay," and "gentle’.  I’m practicing every day, so I can learn how to be the best behaved boy ever for my new family!
