Hi, I'm Blitz, and I'm a sweet, snuggly boy who loves being around people and other dogs! I’m gentle, friendly, and playful, and I’m always looking for a chance to lean into you for some pets and attention. When I’m really happy, I even do this adorable thing called “corn cobbing,” which is pretty much me getting extra cozy and loving! I’ve got a medium energy level, so I enjoy long walks, short walks, running, and car rides, but I’m also happy to relax with you.
Actually, relaxing is pretty much my favorite thing to do. My foster mom says I spend 97% of my day snuggling close to her. I absolutely love a good cuddle! My favorite place to be is in my foster moms lap, and I'll curl up with anyone who'll let me! When I'm not at home, I'm just as friendly with strangers, and will walk right up to anyone who looks like they might want to pet me!
I’m already housetrained and crate trained, and I know how to sit on command! I've been working on my leash skills and I'm a fabulous walker! I don’t bark much, just when I’m playing with other dogs to get their attention. Also! Have I mentioned how much I love snuggling?
I get along great with other dogs – I’m currently living with an alpha female, and we’re doing amazing together. I haven’t spent time with cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them yet. I also do great with kids, including a 5-year-old that I spent time with recently. I would do especially great with kids who wanted to cuddle!
I think I’d do really well with a first-time dog owner, and I’m always up for an adventure, or some time together on the couch! What do you say - could we be cuddle buddies forever?
