Hi, I'm Blitz, and I'm a sweet, snuggly boy who loves being around people and other dogs! I’m gentle, friendly, and playful, and I’m always looking for a chance to lean into you for some pets and attention. When I’m really happy, I even do this adorable thing called “corn cobbing,” which is pretty much me getting extra cozy and loving! I’ve got a medium energy level, so I enjoy long walks, short walks, running, and car rides, but I’m also happy to relax with you. I’m getting better at handling sudden, fast movements, though it can take me a minute to adjust sometimes.
I’m already housetrained and crate trained, and I know how to sit on command! I've been working on my leash skills and I'm a fabulous walker! I don’t bark much, just when I’m playing with other dogs to get their attention. I’m friendly with everyone, and have even walked right up to strangers for pets at places like Petco!
I get along great with other dogs – I’m currently living with an alpha female, and we’re doing amazing together. I haven’t spent time with cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them yet. I also do great with kids, including a 5-year-old that I spent time with recently.
I think I’d do really well with a first-time dog owner, and I’m always up for an adventure. What do you say - could we be best friends forever?
