My foster mom says that I’m the best, most wonderful, happy, gentle, well-behaved, perfect angel baby puppy ever! Ringing endorsement, right?? She tells everyone I'm a ‘just add water’ dog, because I’m so laid back and easy to take care of. I don’t bark in the house at all, I’m 100% potty trained, I’m ‘amazingly perfect’ (that’s a direct quote) in my crate, I’m calm and confident, I don’t chew on things I’m not supposed to, I settle in the house easily and can entertain myself, I’m good on leash, and I’m friendly and gentle with every other canine and human I meet!
In addition to being the literal poster child for a Good Girl ™ I’m also super fun to have around! I’ve got a silly streak, and this includes traits like throwing my treats into the air to play with before I eat it, prancing down the sidewalk when I go for a walk, shoving my nose into people’s armpits as a way to say hello, and jumping into the air for pure joy when I’m playing outside with my ball.
Some of my favorite activities include playing with other dogs (I’m super great at the dog park and daycare, and everyone gives me compliments on how well I read the room and how nicely I play). I also love playing with my toys, especially ones with a squeaker, and eating treats of any kind, but especially yogurt! Chobani brand deal, here I come! Other favorite activities include chewing on my bones and bully sticks, working on food puzzles, and napping! My bed is my happy place, and anytime I’m bored, or not sure what to do, I just go snuggle up with my blanket to take a rest! If you’re new to dogs, this is a super cool skill! Sometimes pups who get bored go looking for things to get into, but I prefer to just take a snooze!
With my super beautiful ears, you might guess that I have amazing hearing, and you’d be right! I’m also a champion listener. I already know ‘sit’, and ‘down’, and I come whenever my foster mom calls my name, even at the park when there is a lot going on. I also know ‘off’, for when she occasionally has to remind me that I’m not supposed to be jumping on people to say hello. I just get so excited to see her when she comes home that I have to give all the hugs and kisses! Is it a crime if that happens to involve me standing up on two legs??
I’d be a great addition to pretty much any family! I’m the best ever co-worker, because I spend most of my days sleeping in the sun, or in my bed. When my foster mom sits down at her desk, I take the cue to settle in for a long nap, and stay super quiet and chill until she’s ready for a break. I’m also very good in my crate when she goes to the office! So long as you have time for lots of snuggles and adventures when you get back, I’d be a good fit for someone who works out of the house. I’d be super happy as an only child, or with canine or human siblings, and I don’t even need a yard! As long as I can go run around at the park sometimes, I’d be equally happy in the suburbs or downtown.
