Hi, I’m Betty Boop!
Or just Boop, which you’ve got to admit is a pretty adorable nickname. Almost as cute as me! I’m a sweet, silly, playful, happy girl who loves being with my people and puppy friends! My foster family joke that I have FOMO, because I want to be a part of absolutely everything that is happening around the house! If people (or pups) that I love are doing something, that’s where I want to be too!
I just moved to D.C., so I’m still learning that the big city isn’t so scary. New things (like loud noises and storm drains) make me a little nervous, but I’m gaining confidence every day! My foster family says that once I warm up, I couldn’t be a friendlier, sweeter girl! They also think that as I settle into this new life of mine, I’ll come out of my shell more and more and be a little less nervous about new things.
I’m a smart girly, and eager to please. I’m good in my crate, and I already know a few tricks, like ‘sit’, and ‘come’, and I’m working on ‘down’ too. I’m also good on leash, so long as nothing I see on my walk startles me. I’m practicing walking past scary stuff calmly, and getting better at it every day.
I love to play with other dogs, and would love having a doggy sibling in my forever family. Living with another pup who loves to play as much as I do would be so fun! I currently live with two doggy foster siblings who don’t really share my passion for wrestling, which is something I’m learning to accept. I mean, I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want to play 24/7, but I accept it!
