Hi, I’m Rose!
My foster family describes me as a “the world’s happiest dog” and “the most gentle, snuggly, silly girl”. They say that I’m the perfect mix of playful and mellow, and that I’d be the best dog ever for pretty much any family!
I love my people so so much, and I can’t wait to have a family of my own! I light up whenever anyone so much as glances in my direction, and I’ll flip over for a belly rub with zero hesitation. To me, strangers are just new friends I haven’t met yet! My foster family says that its impossible to feel down if I’m around, because I bring cheerful energy everywhere I go.
In addition to having an A+ personality, I’m also a star student! I’m fully trained, and love practicing tricks (and yes, okay, getting the treats that come with that!). I’m totally potty trained, I love my crate, and I also know a bunch of commands! ‘Sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘stay’, ‘off’, ‘leave it’, and ‘heel’ are all in my repertoire, plus I’m good on leash and very well-behaved at home too. I also have a bonus special skill, canine vacuum cleaner! I’m amazing at cleaning up crumbs, and always happy to help rid the house of any unwanted cheese! I love a snack, and my favorite part of the day is when my food bowl is full. My foster mom says I do the cutest little excited snorts when its time to eat, and of course I always do my tappy-toe dance to show how joyful I am that its time for a snack!
Beyond snacking and snuggling, my other favorite activities include snoozing and adventuring! I love riding in the car and going places with my foster family. Hiking, camping, running errands, trivia at the brewery, I’m up for it all! I want to be where the people are, and I have a great time wherever I go! I also love doing zoomies in the backyard, playing with toys, and sniffing all the smells on long walks. When you’re ready to decompress for the day, I’ll stay by your side for that too! I love a couch nap, and I make the perfect tv watching buddy.
