We are urgently looking for a loving hospice foster for a very special girl named Mocha Latte. At 10 years old, Mocha’s life took a heartbreaking turn — her owner’s health was declining, and she was surrendered to be euthanized. But Rural Dog Rescue stepped in, and we are determined to give her the love and comfort she deserves in her final chapter.
Recent x-rays revealed two suspicious masses on her heart, and while we await an official diagnosis from a cardiologist, we know her time may be limited. We’re seeking a compassionate foster who can open their heart and home to Mocha Latte and help make her last days peaceful and full of love.
Here’s what we’re asking:
Provide Mocha with a soft bed, a quiet space, and gentle companionship
Help manage her arthritis with medication we provide
Take her to a cardiology appointment (RDR will cover all vet costs)
Simply be there for her — with patience, affection, and calm
And here’s what you’ll get:
The sweetest companion you could ask for
A mellow, gentle girl who loves to be near her person
Endless gratitude from RDR and from Mocha herself
More about Mocha Latte:
"Hi, I'm Mocha Latte! Just like my name suggests, I’m all about warmth, sweetness, and comfort. I'm a mellow girl who loves peaceful days and quiet companionship. Life doesn’t need to be fast or busy when you’ve got a best friend like me. I’m gentle, friendly, and ask for very little — just a cozy spot to rest and a heart to share my love with."
If you or someone you know might be able to give Mocha Latte the care and kindness she deserves, please reach out as soon as possible. Help us show her that even after heartbreak, love still exists.
