Hi, I’m Snap! I’m a sweet and friendly guy with a playful personality and a heart full of love. I’m always ready to bring some fun and laughter into your day with my goofy antics and curious nature. I love exploring new toys, playing games, and spending time with people who want to join in on the fun. Whether we’re heading out for an adventure or relaxing together at home, I’ll be right by your side, ready to be your loyal companion. The nice folks at RDR will update my profile when they learn more about me. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I’ve got to give.
Snap tested positive for heartworm and will need to undergo treatment once they arrive in the DMV, either while in foster or once they are with their adopter. RDR will cover the cost of the heartworm treatment through our vet partner. If the adopter would prefer to complete treatment at their vet, RDR will reimburse up to the treatment cost through our vet partner. During treatment, they need restricted exercise to short leashed walks only, and they need a fairly quiet home where they aren’t going to be overstimulated too much. Once the treatment is complete and they get the all clear from the vet, they will be able to live a totally normal/unrestricted life like any other dog. Dogs should be retested 9-12 months after treatment is completed and every year afterwards as part of their annual exam.
